We have a fantastic opportunity available for a hands-on HR generalist who is looking for a challenging role but most importantly can work autonomously and deliver results.
The role involves the provision of comprehensive generalist human resource services to Managers and their business units. The role is varied covering a wide range of HR activities such as recruitment and selection, employee relations, training and development, along with overseeing the performance management programme. In addition, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a number of key HR related projects and contribute to various initiatives to enhance organisational development.
You will be a confident yet natural communicator with an engaging personality who can assist the business in all aspects of the Human Resources functions. Excellent planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills along with the ability to work effectively independently or cohesively within a team environment producing high quality responses for the business are key elements to succeed in this role.
It is essential for the successful applicant to have a generalist background with a sound knowledge of employment law, as well as a good understanding of health & safety policies. Ideally you will have experience in the manufacturing sector long with a tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline.
